Qualified heat insulation strip: bright surface, uniform color and no white spots;

3. The third step measurement: measure the size

The transverse tensile characteristic value of the national standard heat insulation strip is ≥70MPa.

caution:

1. The glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 composite material is a brittle material. While increasing the tensile strength of the glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 insulation strip, it will also cause the impact resistance of the insulation strip to decrease, that is to say, the brittleness increases, which is very easy to appear. Therefore, users must comprehensively consider various indicators when choosing heat insulation strips, and cannot blindly pursue high tensile strength.

2. "Easy to absorb water" is the fundamental characteristic of nylon 66. During the storage process, the moisture in the air will gradually diffuse into the interior through the surface of the heat insulation strip, and some will form crystal water on the nylon 66 molecular chain, and some will be free between the molecular chains, reducing the interaction between the nylon 66 molecular chains. To reduce the tensile strength, too high water content will also affect the effect of the strip or may produce bubbles during the spraying process, so it is recommended to store at 15-24 ℃.
